Posted on: January 31st, 2014 by Blake Klopfenstein

Well great news in the B.C. halibut sport fishing world as DFO has just announced the date opening
of February 1, 2014 and new regulations that include west coast Vancouver Island, Tofino and the
remainder of the B.C. coast. It looks about the same as the 2013 season except a slight increase
in size limit after April 1, 2014, described in the DFO document below, and includes the maximum
size of 133cm or approximately 70lbs and the smaller of the two in possession may be 90cm or
approximately 20lbs.

We had an amazing family experience with Cleanline Fishing! Blake knew just how to keep the interest of our 2 and 4 year old as we pulled up all sorts of sea creatures in the crab traps.
