Cleanline Teams up with Tofino’s Acclaimed Chef Tim May and The Red Can Gourmet for the Freshest Seafood Experience in Tofino

Have you ever imagined what genuinely fresh fish really tastes like? Imagine catching it yourself aboard a luxury Sportfishing vessel and having it professionally prepared merely hours, if not minutes later. Soon after the launch of the Red Can Gourmet in 2011, it didn’t take long to have Cleanline’s owner and head guide Blake Klopfenstein team up with acclaimed Chef, Tim May to create a value added culinary experience. Inspired by Cleanline’s Sportfishing guests visiting Tofino, not looking to ‘fill the freezer’, but still wanted to experience the freshest fish around, the Cook Your Catch Experience was born. With a practice of ethical catch and release throughout the fishing charter, it becomes the clients option to keep what they would like, as per Department of Federal Fisheries regulations and hours of fantastic fishing experience on the water would ensue. Once satisfied, you’re catch would be prepared by the professional Red Can catering kitchen and arranged with your preferred sides. Afterwards, it is for you to indulge and take to your favorite beach or Tofino vacation getaway.

What they are Saying

This is a blast. Blake is the perfect host, the boat is very well equipped and you feel safe in his hands. We spent a few hours going far up Clayquot Sound, pulled some crab traps, some prawn traps, and took in the incredible views. I highly recommend this kind of adventure. If you’re not into fishing, don’t worry because the crabbing and prawning are a blast and the scenery is breathtaking. Blake’s knowledge of the area add that much more to an already excellent time.
